Making History: Colombia at the IMC Over-40s World Cup 2026
For the first time in history, Colombia will participate in the IMC Over-40s Cricket World Cup, to be held in Guyana from 17 October to 1 November 2026. This milestone represents a defining moment for our national sport, as Colombia becomes the first South American nation to fly its colors at a senior global cricket event.
The Tournament: Guyana 2026
The IMC Over-40s Cricket World Cup is the premier global championship for masters cricket, bringing together sixteen national teams from five continents
- Host Nation: Guyana – “South America Undiscovered”
- Dates: 17 October – 1 November 2026
- Venues: Matches will be played at the historic Providence Stadium and first-class grounds across Guyana
- The Format: Sixteen nations are split into two zones of eight
- Teams play seven group-stage matches before progressing to crossovers and the Grand Finale on 31 October
Group A: The Path to Glory
Colombia has been drawn into Group A, lining up against some of the world’s greatest cricketing powers:
